Breaking Down the Freelance Writing Industry | Professional Writing & Editing Services | https://www.TheProPaper.com

Recently I’ve been dealing with a large amount of resistance from people that blog about freelance writing. When I reach out to them about The Pro Paper, a writing and editing service, they are quick to judge who we are. One of the unique aspects of our service is that we offer a bidding system as opposed to a flat-rate, and this is what many people seem to devalue. Funnily enough, I am not a writer or a web-developer. I am an economist. I built the website because I saw an issue with the countless writing services that prey on writers, and I wanted to empower the writers to have freedom in the work they choose.

What many people seem to think is that the bid-system is a way to rip off the writers, and that the flat-rate system is much more beneficial. I’d like to point out that when you introduce a flat-rate, or a minimum wage, you will always reduce efficiency. The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco conducted an excellent research project on the effects of minimum wage on the labor market, click here to read the results.

Essentially I want to point out that people should only be paid what they’re worth, no more and no less. Does it make sense that a skilled writer and a mediocre writer make the same amount of money for the same work? As a service provider, my job is to make sure that everyone is happy when they use my service. If The Pro Paper used a flat-rate system, then there would be no reward for a writer to go above and beyond in the work they do. But if they know that as they gain credibility, they will be able to do higher-level work, then they will work hard to gain that credibility.

Freelance Writing Services
On the other side of the coin, the people paying for the writing service should only get what they pay for. If someone only wants to spend $5 for a blog article, why would I insist that they pay $10? If there is a writer out there that will do the job for $5, then that is how it should go. It’s really a win-win system, even if it makes the competition a little fiercer. When someone comes along with $500 to spend on a 30-page research paper, you can bet just about anything that he will not hire just any writer. He is going to hire the writer that has good reviews, a good track-record, and examples of their work.

At The Pro Paper, we want to provide both writers and users with an excellent experience every single time they use the website. We would love to hear your opinion on this, feel free to comment on this article with your opinions. At the end of the day, freelance writing services are always going to be in demand. Writers will always be able to find the work if they are willing to search on their own. At The Pro Paper, we make it easy to find jobs. As you complete more jobs, the amount we take in commission’s decreases quickly. While other services will take a 25% flat rate, the most we will charge is 20%, and after completing 500 jobs, we only charge 1%!!! Come check us out today at https://www.TheProPaper.com.

What It's Like to be a Freelance Writer https://www.TheProPaper.com

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel the world and work as a freelance writer? You could be sitting in a coffee shop in Paris right now, writing this article for me. The time and effort it would take to make reliable connections for writing gigs can dissuade most people from pursuing this dream. I can tell you now that the work exists and there are platforms you can use that will enable you to live a freelance lifestyle.
I was an Uber driver for several months and the best thing about it was that I could drive anywhere in my state, which allowed me to travel and couch surf. During this time, having a job that came with no strings is exactly what I needed. As we come out of college, the reality of what is happening hits quite hard and it’s easy to waste time at a job that will never help you achieve your goals.
Being a freelance writer will allow you to stay afloat and maintain a lifestyle of leisure. I’m not going to say that it will be easy, but I will say that the work is there if you are willing to put in the hours. No one likes writing college essays. And let’s be honest, most of the papers that we write in college are a waste of time. Those three page essays you learned how to crank out in two hours can make you big bucks to the right person.
By using writing websites like my own, The Pro Paper, you can pick up gigs at your leisure and get paid once you submit the final draft. During peak times I’ve seen people pay over $2000 for a paper because they had the money and didn’t want to do the work. As much as I hate cheating and plagiarism, how could anyone pass up on that? That is not the only work you can expect as a freelance writer; I’ve seen marketing companies that buy articles much like this one to put on their blogs.
On top of all of the money you can make, you are also free to work any time you want. Could it really get any better than that? It will give you an opportunity to step back and take a breath. After being in school for over 16 years without a true break, I know that being a freelance driver is exactly what I needed. So all in all, if you’re interested in an opportunity to become a freelance writer, give my website a visit! I made it for writers to do what they love and make money while they’re at it.
